I can never get over the way that US media talks about WhatsApp like it's some complex, esoteric thing
It's a texting app.
Why is it be surprising to learn that politicians text each other? I don't get it

@Tsavkko Hahahahahha tô pra te mandar um email há meses! (Não voltei de vez pro Twitter. Tô tentando curar o meu vício desse aplicativo até o final do ano :P
Around half a billion bees dropped dead in 4 of Brazil’s southern states in the first few months of this year. Samples showed most of the dead had been poisoned with Fipronil, a insecticide proscribed in the EU, classified as a possible human carcinogen by the U.S. EPA (thread)
@katrosenfield Sending you the goodest of good vibes that your sweet boy clearly deserves! Winston looks like a bundle of joy and from Im sure could not have asked for a more wonderful, loving home & fam ❤️
The opening words of the tweet below lose out in epic self-sabotage only to the early 2010s classic "I am not a witch" and 2019's bold spunky newcomer "I did not fuck my cat"
@kittypurrzog Did you also catch that he once co-wrote an article with Haider condemning fellow Harvard faculty member Jeannie Suk Gersen's arguments about Title IX overreach and the need to respect due process?

@gnribeiro I agree about the horrificness & inappropriateness of Weintraub's words to the indigenous protester, and that politicians must be held to higher standards when it comes to lashing out in a public space
I deleted this. I was wrong to comment on this short clip without knowing full context of the confrontation, which was messier
I think Weintraub was wrong to escalate the situation, but also don't agree with protesters confronting the man while he's eating dinner w his family
@notPeterWood Ack, you make a good argument. Doesn't change my mind and I continue to hate that children were in the middle of this confrontation, but... I don't have a good comeback! [shakes fist at sky]
I realize this is well and truly beside the point, but courtroom artist Christine Cornell's recent sketches are really fantastic!
(I'm a little biased though because I met her once during the Sandusky trial and she is such a lovely person, and I love great courtroom art)
