@daniel_rafique@DasEtwas_ @thejameslanders @BluePepperHD@WorldAndScience At night, the Sun is behind the earth, earth throws a shadow and the sattelites are in it. At day, the athmosphere blocks the view to them. The proof they are there are things like sattelite radio or telephone, GPS and more
@daniel_rafique@DasEtwas_ @thejameslanders @BluePepperHD@WorldAndScience lol I dont remember how big the earth is, I googled it^^.Also google says the circumference is about 25kmi.Just saying lol.And no fishe. lens can create that much curve to a flat surface. And how would gravity work?Would it be just going"down"?Then how do sattelites stay in orbit?
@daniel_rafique@DasEtwas_ @thejameslanders @BluePepperHD@WorldAndScience Look at any damn pic of NASA^^
And given that the diameter of the earth is close to 8000mi and has a surface of ~199.900.00mi2, given that its not noticable while being on earth, but better to observe in a plane, especially high altitude ones.
@daniel_rafique@DasEtwas_ @thejameslanders @BluePepperHD@WorldAndScience Any Phone camera is not enough to zoom into a boat about 5 Kilometres away, it would only appear as a single pixel, and then it is apparent that it disappears in one step. Give me proof with an actual camera and a sufficient zoom and we can talk about it.
@daniel_rafique@DasEtwas_ @thejameslanders @BluePepperHD@WorldAndScience We found a curve. You are standing on a curve. And there is evidence, you just didn't accept it. But just because you do not accept evidence does not make it not true.
@daniel_rafique@DasEtwas_ @thejameslanders @BluePepperHD@WorldAndScience Unfortunately I do not have a lens lying around to zoom into the horizon right now. Also when you say this I assume you already zoomed in with a camera and seen the boat being there after initially disappearing under/behind the horizon?
@DasEtwas_@daniel_rafique @thejameslanders @BluePepperHD@WorldAndScience Under the horizon, what either means they fell off flat earth (but apparently the horizon isnt the end...) or it is also tilting relative to your view and moving forward using earth's crook. That can pretty much only be seen with a telephoto lens (lol)
@DasEtwas_@daniel_rafique @thejameslanders @BluePepperHD@WorldAndScience I think he refers to the horizon as something like the maximum range of view, like in a video game, what is actually natually there, set by the properties of the atmosphere. BUT a boat doesn't just disappear. It slowly moves down, until you only see the mast and finally sinks 1/?
