@ericacbarnett @BrandiKruse@CliffMass what we are seeing around the country is not random violence. Consider Portland. The violence is tearing apart the foundational social fabric of the nation....and now this is opposition by armed groups on the other side. Very bad. Democracy can not function this way
@ericacbarnett @BrandiKruse@CliffMass I suspect you did not read my blog. The violence was not random at all...that is my https://t.co/M6G8n2vSmw was organized against certain businesses and groups. The violent folks were coordinated. They meant to intimidate. And the political establish ignored or winked at it.
@ericacbarnett @BrandiKruse@CliffMass Erica... you are happy to Trump and other Nazis...and you retain your ability to publish in the media. Don't you think it is problematic what KNKX did? Do you support freedom of expression or not?
@knkxfm Freedom of speech and viewpoint are the foundation of our society. I am not a member of the KNKX staff but an outside contributor. What happened to me is a sign of what has happened in our society, with social media mobs controlling public discourse.

@knkxfm Just to make sure everyone understands, my blog in no way criticized BLM or the protestors, but was highly critical of violent thugs who broke windows, looted stores, and intimidated those with differing viewpoints. Many in Seattle are afraid of the mob--both online and otherwise

@LeiferMd @cliffmassreal@eisism@CliffMass Well Dan.... protecting our personal freedom is important. Already, courts are working to stop the excesses (e.g., Wisconsin). I guess we will have to disagree...cliff
@MarkMessinger@CliffMass Mark... one can close the playground equipment and perhaps the bathrooms...places where we all touch the same thing. But open the parks....cliff
@USWeatherExpert@CliffMass@NWS Mike--thanks for your comments. You make some important points in your blog about problems in the NWS. The gap filler radar issue is a good one. They are sitting on a report requested by Congress...just outrageous. Take are...cliff
@postcarbonsteve No steve.. it is not an existential threat for the nation or the world. My source:IPCC report and the U.S. National Climate Assessment.A loss of few percent of future growth. We will be slightly less richer under global warming. We need to do what we can.
