🌿🌼Class 2’s spring hunt in Waddington Park🌼🌿
This afternoon, Class 2 visited Waddington Park to look for signs of spring. The children can’t wait to tell their grown-ups all the wonderful things they ticked off their lists. We loved it!
We have been learning about countries in the UK. Last week we learned about the Myth of Giants causeway. This week we have recycled and used the skill of junk modelling to build our own. Both year 1 and EYFS have done brilliantly.
Our PE unit of Dance is coming along splendid. Class 2 have been working really hard to think of actions to match the seasons and weather. We have also been working hard introducing high, medium and low. What brilliant moovers
WOW! We are loving our English story of Bringing the rain to Kapiti-Plain. EYFS today told the story through music and gave us a brilliant performance. Year 1s looked at using onomatopoeia within their writing. 👏🏽😊
Last week in outdoor explorers we looked at compass points. We created our own paper compass and drew what we could see at North East South West around the playground. We learned a rhyme to help us remember; Naughty elephants squirt water.
Apologies for the mistake! The schools code is: tjgs and follow this link with your login details. Everything is up and running 😀 https://t.co/5S4rMlrbjC
In Science we have been learning about our senses, so we decided to go for an autumn walk. We used our sense of hearing to listen to the outdoor world. We then found autumn treausres :)
Blackpool Gazette reception new starters photo-Tuesday 26th September. Remember to send the children in looking smart and in full school uniform (not PE kit). Thank you. 👍🏼@st_clifton@clifton_class2
