When do you know you've reached product-market fit as a founder?

Forget the metrics. Watch for these behavioral shifts:

1. True PMF emerges when customers stop benchmarking. The conversation evolves from "better than X" to "this transforms everything"

2. Internal virality kicks in organically. Champions become evangelists.

3. Pricing objections evaporate. "Can you build X?" becomes "How fast can we deploy?"

What patterns are you seeing?

🌉 Full Circle: Returning to San Francisco 🌁

Over the past year, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to build @Clinch_iowhile immersing myself in New York City’s vibrant environment. NYC’s fast-paced, vibrant energy and relentless drive taught us to think big, move fast, and innovate constantly, challenging us to hustle while staying laser-focused on creating an impact for our customers.

As I return to SF, I’m energized by the city’s unmatched ecosystem of dreamers and the rapid pace of AI innovation here.

@Atlassian for Startups has been a key partner in our journey, and it's been a fantastic experience working with Annie Lu and Natalie Mendes!

Here are the three key takeaways from our journey at Clinch AGI from idea to revenue in just six months:

1. Hiring the Right Team is Crucial
One of the most important lessons I've learned is the significance of building a strong team with the right skill sets from the outset. At Clinch, I focused on hiring individuals with specific "superpowers" in areas like AI and engineering. However, adaptability was just as critical. I needed team members who could wear multiple hats and handle the unique challenges of an early-stage startup.

2. Staying Close to the Customer is Key to Product-Market Fit
Our rapid journey to revenue at Clinch was fueled by our deep understanding of customer pain points. I made it a priority for the team to remain closely engaged with customers throughout the product development process, listening to their feedback and making swift changes. This customer-centric approach helped us refine the product and retain customers during critical stages like onboarding.

3. Tools and Culture are Essential for Distributed Teams
With a team spread across multiple time zones, we strongly emphasized flexibility and using the right tools to ensure seamless collaboration. By leveraging teamwork and collaboration tools, we were able to streamline operations and foster a strong, autonomous culture. This foundation enabled us to scale smoothly as the team grew.

These lessons have been instrumental to our success, and I hope they resonate with others on their startup journey.

As AI evolves, "AI employees" are emerging as powerful collaborators alongside human workers, shaping the future of work. NVIDIA’s CEO Jensen Huang envisions AI agents in roles from marketing to design, engaging like human team members. At @Clinch_io , we share this vision of AI-augmented teams enhancing productivity and innovation. The key is to view AI as an augmentation tool, enabling us to focus on high-value tasks. Let’s embrace this potential and develop skills that complement AI. The future is about collaboration, not competition. How do you see AI employees fitting into your industry? Share your thoughts! #FutureOfWork
