AI agents don’t just need better reasoning. They need bounded authority.
I explain why autonomy should attach to each action, and the enterprise control-plane architecture that decides when an agent can execute, ask for approval, or refuse. https://t.co/zzYCS0QGwk
AI isn’t a zero-sum game. AI is not just about productivity.

When do you know you've reached product-market fit as a founder?
Forget the metrics. Watch for these behavioral shifts:
1. True PMF emerges when customers stop benchmarking. The conversation evolves from "better than X" to "this transforms everything"
2. Internal virality kicks in organically. Champions become evangelists.
3. Pricing objections evaporate. "Can you build X?" becomes "How fast can we deploy?"
What patterns are you seeing?

🌉 Full Circle: Returning to San Francisco 🌁
Over the past year, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to build @Clinch_iowhile immersing myself in New York City’s vibrant environment. NYC’s fast-paced, vibrant energy and relentless drive taught us to think big, move fast, and innovate constantly, challenging us to hustle while staying laser-focused on creating an impact for our customers.
As I return to SF, I’m energized by the city’s unmatched ecosystem of dreamers and the rapid pace of AI innovation here.

@Atlassian for Startups has been a key partner in our journey, and it's been a fantastic experience working with Annie Lu and Natalie Mendes!
Here are the three key takeaways from our journey at Clinch AGI from idea to revenue in just six months:
1. Hiring the Right Team is Crucial
One of the most important lessons I've learned is the significance of building a strong team with the right skill sets from the outset. At Clinch, I focused on hiring individuals with specific "superpowers" in areas like AI and engineering. However, adaptability was just as critical. I needed team members who could wear multiple hats and handle the unique challenges of an early-stage startup.
2. Staying Close to the Customer is Key to Product-Market Fit
Our rapid journey to revenue at Clinch was fueled by our deep understanding of customer pain points. I made it a priority for the team to remain closely engaged with customers throughout the product development process, listening to their feedback and making swift changes. This customer-centric approach helped us refine the product and retain customers during critical stages like onboarding.
3. Tools and Culture are Essential for Distributed Teams
With a team spread across multiple time zones, we strongly emphasized flexibility and using the right tools to ensure seamless collaboration. By leveraging teamwork and collaboration tools, we were able to streamline operations and foster a strong, autonomous culture. This foundation enabled us to scale smoothly as the team grew.
These lessons have been instrumental to our success, and I hope they resonate with others on their startup journey.

One trend stands out in the latest State of Generative AI in the Enterprise report from @MenloVentures : the emergence of AI agents.
2024 marks the year that generative AI became a mission-critical imperative for the enterprise.
AI spending surged to $13.8 billion this year, more than 6x the $2.3 billion spent in 2023—a clear signal that enterprises are shifting from experimentation to execution, embedding AI at the core of their business strategies.
Key takeaways:
1. Significant Increase in AI Investment: Enterprise spending on AI surged to $13.8 billion in 2024, a substantial increase from $2.3 billion in 2023. This sixfold growth indicates a shift from experimental phases to the integration of AI into core business strategies
2. Transition from Innovation to Core Budgeting: Currently, 60% of generative AI investments are sourced from innovation budgets. However, the remaining 40% comes from core budgets, with 58% of that redirected from existing allocations, demonstrating a commitment to AI as a fundamental business tool
3. Emergence of AI Agents: The report highlights the rise of AI agents capable of complex reasoning and multi-step actions, moving beyond traditional bots to enable end-to-end process automation.
As we look to the future, it's clear that AI agents will drive the next wave of enterprise transformation.
At Clinch AGI, we're at the forefront of this transformation. They have the potential to disrupt not only the $400 billion software market but also make significant inroads into the $10 trillion U.S. services economy.
How is your organization preparing for this shift? Let's discuss the future of work and how we can harness the power of AI to create more efficient, innovative, and productive businesses.

As the CEO of a GenAI startup @Clinch_io , I’m witnessing firsthand the transformative potential of AI in reshaping the enterprise landscape.
The advancements in AI, particularly in solving complex workflows, are nothing short of groundbreaking. Here are a couple of recent examples:
• @BatteryVentures recent $45 million Series B investment in Galileo is a clear signal of the growing demand for AI solutions that measure and optimize unstructured data quality.
• Neuron7’s innovation in leveraging large language models to create unified intelligence systems for customer service is redefining high-stakes industries.
Their rapid growth, fueled by strategic investment from ServiceNow Ventures, underscores the vast opportunity in addressing intricate enterprise challenges with AI.
The message is clear: the future of enterprise AI belongs to solutions that can navigate the complexities of workflows and integrate seamlessly into existing ecosystems.
For VCs and AI Entrepreneurs, the takeaway is simple: move beyond the hype. The most impactful AI startups are not those dabbling in experimentation but those solving real, complex problems with clear product-market fit and scalable solutions.
The future of enterprise innovation is being built today—and it’s up to us to lead the way.

As AI evolves, "AI employees" are emerging as powerful collaborators alongside human workers, shaping the future of work. NVIDIA’s CEO Jensen Huang envisions AI agents in roles from marketing to design, engaging like human team members. At @Clinch_io , we share this vision of AI-augmented teams enhancing productivity and innovation. The key is to view AI as an augmentation tool, enabling us to focus on high-value tasks. Let’s embrace this potential and develop skills that complement AI. The future is about collaboration, not competition. How do you see AI employees fitting into your industry? Looks like the heads of a few asset managers (errr, I mean universities) looked the other way when asked about genocide.
Expect the boards of these asset managers (errr, I mean universities) to feel a lot of pressure to act and fire them.
3) Investors reward primarily PLG companies with higher valuations, especially at higher revenue growth rates
4) Getting the transition right requires capabilities across product design, marketing, sales, and -surprisingly - enterprise sales to complement self-service.
An insightful article from Bain about the importance of Product-Led Growth in today's macro-economic landscape #saas#plg#productledgrowth#b2b#marketing
My takeaways:
1) A product-led growth strategy produces faster revenue growth and greater market share.
