@arb5z@rauchg Maybe he means like for the generations to come ... Gift your grandkids a GPU, install a local model and give it access to the internet. Well there's the electricity bill. So not free unless you also left them an arc reactor.
Hey Japanese learners! I built a font that renders Furigana or Romaji above Kanji, with ligatures to support words. You can apply it anywhere to get furigana notations for free.
Give it a try, and I hope it will be helpful :)

Codex is right now the most polished of the apps from the major labs imo. I've been using it a lot for the past few months and made a video with 15 tips I wish I knew earlier. Hope you like it.
@barre_of_lube i jumped into the landline assumption and drifted a bit from ur main meta topic which is totally on them to allow that. it would be cool to just pull in some features (e.g. live translation, take notes, etc) into a voice call wherever (meta, telegram, landline, etc)
@barre_of_lube yes. various surfaces. e.g. all the main ones on hermes agent or beeper. something definitely needs to be cooked there 🧑🏼🍳 no one wants to do a breaking change in telecom probably 👀
@barre_of_lube ah i see. given some necessary handshake beforehand you’d let the call through. did a quick test … even openai (dots) didn’t figure that out yet. but it seems to have surprised itself that it could not 😅 outbound worked
@barre_of_lube like … linking your gvt id to the number is understandable. we definitely don’t want to make it easy to spoof callers.
if that problem is solved i think it’d be much easier. unless everyone receiving calls goes ghost in the shell mode and counter-attacks whoever spam called
