I’ve actually never been more proud of my fandom. The Clippers are at the center of my entertainment hub, along with Chivas and Mexico. I’m a Dodger fan and I love the Dodgers, but I’m not a die-hard.

The Clippers are different. They’re more than just a team. It’s a chosen affiliation, something I decided I would forever be a part of.

Unconditional fandom is kind of irrational and that’s what makes it special.

You don’t abandon something you’ve chosen to belong to just because it gets difficult.

The Clippers sound like something you belong to. And honestly, I feel bad for people who never get to experience that kind of unconditional loyalty and love for a sports team.
