Was on the ‘12 team where MLB had to step in so we could get paid in April. Team was bought a few weeks later by a group that poured money into the Stadium, city & players. Titles didn’t just happen overnight. They created a culture where players like Ohtani & Teo etc wanted to come here. Mookie was available in trade & Freddie was let go by a franchise that wanted to go a different direction. A lot of teams have money, very few have created a Culture & Vibe the way the Dodgers have.

Between the lodged ball & the outlandish criticism of IKF’s lead at 3rd base I am reminded of just how silly it is to try & explain high level strategy & the purpose behind it to people who are essentially stepping into a PHD level course & telling the professor they’re wrong because “insert opinion with no experience or education to support shitty opinion”. I’ve watched current & retired players try to explain the rules & strategy of the games they play/ed & be told their wrong by “Steve in sales” who pitched & played SS on his men’s league team.
