@PatByrned@FineGael My unreserved apologies to you again Linda. I have nothing but the utmost respect for people with additional needs, as stated previously I have a family member with challenges and I wouldn't dream of being so insensitive.
@PatByrned@FineGael A piece about PEERS Standing Strong Together/U Matter, a group in the Clogheen area,
which was set up to raise awareness and promote positive mental health in Clogheen and all the surrounding villages, Duhill, Burncourt, Ballylooby, Skeheenaranky, Newcastle and Ballypooreen.
@PatByrned@FineGael What was happening yesterday was that I have nominated PEERS Standing Strong Together/U Matter for a Municipal District Awards which will be presented on Thursday evening next. /3
@PatByrned@FineGael I have a family member with additional needs and I would understand more than most how important routine is and I always do everything I can to ensure my brother is happy and content. /2
@PatByrned@FineGael My response to the post as follows:
Hi Linda, I was totally unaware of any issues until someone forwarded me a copy of your post this evening. My sincerest apologies to you, your son and your family, but I certainly would not do anything like described in your post.

@thisweekrte A bit of balanced reporting every now and again wouldn’t go astray from RTE. There are a hell of a lot of positives about Clogheen which were not mentioned in this ‘so called’ special report.
Meet the Daughters - the combined team behind the book and plaques. Thanks to @cllrmariemurphy who supported us from the very outset and to everyone who provided their expertise and time. It's time for other towns to tell the history of their women!

@iascaigh@Cailincaher Congratulations to the Daughters of Dún Iascaigh, Historical Walking Tour. It’s great to see such a wonderful initiative winning a National Heritage Award. Can’t wait to see the next project from the Cahir Women’s History Group.
We been awarded the Right to Read Award 2020 by @DeptRCD . This is in recognition of the standard at which the library service provides literacy and reading supports to families, children, and schools in Co. Tipperary. 😊Thanks to Cathaoirleach @cllrmariemurphy for presenting it!
As part of the @iascaigh project, Cllr. Marie Murphy @cllrmariemurphy said, "Ireland still has the tenth lowest representation of women in parliament in Europe. More need to follow Marian Tobin, the first female councillor in Tipperary, elected in1920." #strongwomen#cahir
