My favorite innovation in gaming has to be network latency in single player games. Very cool to experience lag and die in new ways.
If it was Doom 2, pretty sure the difficulty setting would be named “Give me Lag”.
@IridiumGameDev@Mike_Laidlaw@BioMarkDarrah Yeah I feel like the game structure in general is very DA2 (which for me is a good thing as I played so much of it).
Also, Cid gives me Varric vibes left and right.
It may be just me but FF16 game structure reminds me a lot of DA2.
I can’t really pinpoint, but it is very nostalgic. Combat focused, interesting characters, light side quests and strong main quest.
I really like it.
I wonder if @Mike_Laidlaw and @BioMarkDarrah played it.
Just received this funny email:
“Fernando - are you curious about this role <put here a role that you didn’t know existed and it is completely different than anything you have ever worked on>?
I am like, nah, delete.
That feeling when you realize your 12yo notebook ran some automatic updates during the night, and when it restarted, it sat on the “attempting to repair” for a very very long time…
@__mrlinus__ Being able to create a loaf of bread the way I want, shared it (with butter and cheese), is so satisfying.
I guess what I am trying to say is, creating physical things was a key for me to express and satisfy my creativity.
Maybe you could try that? :)
@__mrlinus__ came into play. The first time I finish a Warhammer kit, it changed everything. Being able to realize something, touch it, learn from mistakes and try again next day, was a gamer changer for me.
Don’t even start me with bread…
