New Minister #NadhimZahawi banked £1.3million from an oil company while working as an MP. He has been able to keep the total earnings HIDDEN due to a Parliamentary loophole, which included a final £285,000 “settlement payment” in 2018, after first becoming a Government minister.

And just to add one final piece of data, because facts matter. There were 29,456 asylum applications in the UK in 2020 - a drop of 18% on 2019. Germany took 7 times that number (121,955), France & Spain took 3 times that number (93,470 and 88, 530) & Greece (pop 10m) took 40,560
I’m appalled by the proposed new legislation on asylum: it will bring more suffering, homelessness, hunger & the torment of more insecurity. How can this country, known for its hospitality, behave like this? It mustn’t become law. @JCOREUK @RefugeesEU@RefugeeTales@RefugeeLegal
