My advice to designers: develop your taste as seriously as you learn your tools.
Study great work. Learn to explain why it works. Bring that judgment to everything AI gives you.
Follow along as I build my startup in public and share what I’m learning.

GPT-6 Astra designed my startup’s landing page.
It looked like the work I sold on Fiverr for $150 three years ago.
Every client gave that work 5 stars.
That explains a lot about why founders are happy with AI design.

My take on “AI just killed designers”:
Designers whose only selling point is producing a decent-looking page should pay attention.
Taste is becoming a bigger part of what clients pay for.
AI gives you a starting point. Your judgment shapes the result.

I spent 3 hours putting together a founder-led demo.
My bet: seeing Closingly in action gives visitors more reason to sign up than screenshots alone.
But the numbers will tell.
I’ll share the results in 7 days, whether conversion improves or stays flat.

It uses your codebase , and understands what the product does itself and then writes the script , sound design and motion.
It's basically a one shot kind of thing rather than a detailed script.

I understand now why motion designers charge 5 figures for a single launch video.
Last night I was creating a reel for my product launch (Closingly) and these 11 scenes at an average of 4 seconds each took me 5 hours of continuous work.
