In many #TTRPGs and #boardgames, missing a turn feels bad. "Rolling to hit" and hearing "nothing happens" is this, too.

I wonder how things would feel different if when you roll to hit, you also roll damage dice twice and take the lower if you miss (or the higher if you hit). 🤯
