@clovercheck set an indoor best in the 800 with his time of 1:52.78 at the Husky Classic today. That moves him up to sixth all time at the distance. It also marked a three-second improvement from his time last week at the WSU Open.

.@clovercheck becomes just the second Viking ever to run sub-80 seconds in the 600 meters. Lovercheck shaved more than three seconds off his personal best while finishing in 1:19.73. That ranks him 2nd only to Nate Boyer (1:19.48) in the PSU record book.

Head coach David Hepburn said @clovercheck would run earlier and more often this indoor season. It seems to be working. Last week, he had two PBs in two events. Today, he became just the 2nd Viks to go sub-80 in the 600m.

The Viking men placed third at the #BigSkyXC meet, their highest finish ever by two whole spots. The Vikings placed their entire top five among the first 25 finishers, while @jordanmac44 set an individual record by placing 12th overall.
