How many more Palestinian lives will this fourth US veto cost? Is this yet another cruel parting gift that Biden is giving the Palestinians? Israel’s impunity & ongoing genocide are “made in the USA.”
Israel has intentionally blocked aid in Gaza, targeted humanitarian workers & has now banned Gaza’s primary aid lifeline, UNRWA.
Starvation is being used as a weapon of war.
Words aren’t enough. We need sanctions, a full arms embargo & for the Israeli Ambassador to be expelled.
Oxfam condemns "the killing in Gaza...of four water engineers and workers" who "were killed on their way to conduct repairs to water infrastructure....Despite prior coordination with Israeli authorities their clearly-marked vehicle was bombed." https://t.co/zVRijWRIax
Wonderful to be able to celebrate the amazing legal career of Chris Johnson @clpsolicitors with so many colleagues and friends @gardencourtlaw last night and to wish him a richly deserved retirement and happy gardening!
@HF_LawCentre Absolutely devastating... This is such a massive loss. I'm so grateful for the support he's provided to me through my career and always loved fighting the good fight with him. Sending so much love to his family and to his work family as you deal with this loss 🤍🤍
Team LALY & the entire legal aid family is mourning the loss of one of the very best of us. Simon won our 2020 Social Welfare Law award & was described as 'a legal aid warrior' & 'ebullient force of nature'. He will be hugely missed by all of us. Thoughts with his beloved family.
The co-chairs of HLPA, Dianne, Laura and Tim, with the executive shares its deepest condolences with Simon's family. It is a great loss to us all both personally and for the housing sector.
It is of great sadness that HLPA is announcing the untimely death of Simon Mullins our past chair and leader. Simon was renown as a formidable lawyer and advocate for tenant's rights. Our thoughts are with his family & further tributes will follow https://t.co/HXCEd3AMOL
