So, I saw these stats the other day and ended up going down the rabbit hole on a viral post. I saw so many comments from men saying they would NEVER read anything by a female author.
This was interesting to me. Why exclude an entire group of authors? Any thoughts?

As you watch the Aurora this evening, it’s worth reflecting that you’re getting a rare direct glimpse of the power of Nature. Those charged particles causing the atmosphere to glow came from a sunspot complex 17 times the diameter of Earth and traveled across 90 million miles at a million miles an hour. Without our magnetic field to protect us, our atmosphere would have been lost to space long ago. Those colours in the sky are Nature reminding us that we’re very lucky to be here amidst the violence. And perhaps therefore also reminding us not to shite it all up :-)

@caboken Yes, I think I’ve seen some screenshots from this game actually! I thought the scenery looked amazing but I wasn’t sure about Laura Bow’s ‘look’. She seemed quite wholesome in the original games which was part of her charm, but in the new art she seems to have lost that a bit..?

@caboken I’d like to know if Roberta would ever consider a Laura Bow 3 if allowed by Microsoft, and what kind of setting it would be - we’ve had a plantation, New York speakeasies, what next? It always seemed a shame there were only 2 games in the series as it was so great 🔍
