@OliLondonTV You're used to talking to far right trashbags that are crappy enough to agree with you, seems like you just can't handle being proven wrong 👀
I like to think I'm an intelligent chap. I write software for a living and everyone always thinks of me as the clever one.
Today I was cleaning the patio and spent several minutes trying to jet spray a shadow off a paving slab.
When I'm bored driving, I call the numbers on lorries and vans. I tell the office how great a driver they are and courteous - even if not. Telling them I used to be a HGV driver - I wasn't. Everyone needs a lift. It is a tough job. Most call are complaints.
I used to think doing expensive things with kids was a waste of money as they won't remember it in a few years anyway. Now I have my own son I'd pay anything and take him anywhere to see his happy little face.
@nordintrades @Chris_Knut@fasc1nate ok imagine training to be something like a surgeon - a textbook can only teach you so much. you'd be pretty screwed without spacial awareness in theatre 😬
I have a prestigious job with a lot of operational responsibility because I am perceived as being conscientious and detail oriented. Truth is, I'm so petrified of getting things wrong that I obsessively follow every process to the letter. I'm in a trap made out of my own fear.
@COMRADEBLOOM@mfrances1973 This is extremely easy for someone your age to say, from when further education was free and houses were barely a quarter of the cost of what they are now...
