And that's a wrap!
Yesterday I concluded my final field survey of the summer. A big thank you to Allie, Geologist from NRCS for joining us in utilizing ERT to map the freshwater saltwater interface in Southern Rhode Island.

Cyanobacteria HAB monitoring using the YSI ProDSS total algae probe! Blooms often congregate near the shore and can look like spilled pained in the water. @H2O_Soni@natureburrito#PradhanangLab
Be on the lookout for the Portuguese Man-o’-War, spotted at many of RI’s beaches this week. They have long tentacles that pack a painful sting. @RhodeIslandDEM is flying 🟪 flags at beaches they have been spotted at. If you see one, don’t touch it and report it to beach staff.
‼️Rhode Island is under a flood watch‼️Remember: Find shelter, avoid traveling once rain and wind starts, follow advice of local officials, and evacuate if told to do so. Never walk or drive through flood waters!
