1/3 Our new edition of our State Policy Digest highlights state and federal efforts to increase affordability, accountability, and equity in higher education.
Proud to have earned the endorsement of SEIU Local 500.
The workers they represent show up every single day to educate our children, support our communities, and keep Maryland running. They deserve a senator who will show up for them just as consistently in Annapolis.
I have fought to protect collective bargaining rights, invest in public education, and make sure working people have a real voice in our state. That fight does not stop.
Grateful for their trust. Honored to stand with SEIU Local 500.
78 days.
That's how long Trump's reckless war in Iran has been driving up the cost of gas, groceries, and everything else for Maryland families.
Memorial Day weekend is when many Marylanders pack up the car and head down to Ocean City. It's tradition. But this year, families across the state are looking at gas prices and grocery bills and wondering if they can even afford the trip.
Trump pretends squeezing working people is no big deal. For too many Baltimoreans, it's the difference between getting to work, making rent, or putting the weekend on hold.
Maryland Democrats aren't brushing off rising prices. We fought to bring costs down in the 2026 Legislative Session — and we're not done.
Brooke Lierman and I have been neighbors, friends, and colleagues doing this work side by side for nearly a decade.
She was elected to serve the 46th District as a Delegate in 2014 — already one of the sharpest policy minds in the building — and spent eight years showing up for these neighborhoods and the people who live here.
When she ran for Comptroller, I endorsed her without hesitation. Today she’s the first woman independently elected to statewide constitutional office in Maryland history. And she still lives right here in the 46th.
Her endorsement means more to me than most because she knows this district, she knows this community, and she’s seen up close what we’ve built together for Baltimore over the years.
Early voting starts June 11. Election Day is June 23.
Brandon Scott and I go back almost 20 years. We came up in public service together, long before either of us was in the jobs we’re in now. He’s Mayor. I’m Senate President. A lot has changed since then.
I’m proud to have Brandon’s endorsement — and even prouder of what we’ve built together for this city. New schools. Lower crime. Investment coming home to our neighborhoods. A Baltimore that’s proving what’s possible when people refuse to give up on it.
Early voting starts June 11. Election Day is June 23. Let’s keep building.
@MontiOrioles@_JayDoe@masnsports Agreed that masn app is bad everywhere. I also got the mlb code but signed up for masn+ earlier in March. Maybe they will send it to you if you call/email them.
The Mimi DiPietro ice rink in Patterson Park is more than just a place to skate. It’s a space where thousands of Baltimore families make memories and our young people discover themselves through organizations like the @BMoreBanners.
Its closure is an unacceptable outcome, which is why I was so proud to announce today that Team46 secured $500,000 in State funds to hopefully save the rink for another 5 to 10 years.
I’m immensely grateful to Delegates @LukeClippinger, Lewis, and @ElectEdelson, along with Councilman @1stDistrictMark, Council President @Zeke_Cohen, and @MayorBMScott for their partnership working towards this solution as we identify a path towards the rinks’ long-term viability for generations of Baltimoreans to come.
Delegates @LukeClippinger, @RobbynLewis46th, @ElectEdelson, and I (Team 46) are proud to have earned the endorsement of 212 46th District community leaders from 33 distinct neighborhoods as we run for re-election.
This groundswell of grassroots support from every corner of the 46th Legislative District highlights the deep relationships that Team 46 has built after years of delivering for Baltimore City and its residents.
From billions of new State dollars secured for Baltimore City Public School students through the Blueprint for Maryland’s Future and the Built to Learn Act to the creation of a new Entertainment District Security Grant program, Team 46's focus on local issues has established trust from community leaders who share their passion for building a better Baltimore.
Those 212 leaders know that experience and a history of advancing transformational policy are critical in this moment of national chaos. Bolstered by this broad-based and immense support from the people who make their work possible, Team 46 will continue prioritizing the issues that matter most to 46th District residents in the upcoming 2026 Legislative Session.
