@Brookline50 @JWLaskey It quite literally is easier to get recruited in 2026 than it has been in history. AAU is larger than it’s ever been, not to mention the prescence social media has in recruiting. You can play at a 1a school in the middle of nowhere, and if you’re good enough, you’ll be found.

@JWLaskey Firstly, the majority of those 10 reasons are irrelevant to prep school basketball, and the ones that are even remotely relevant will never come close to being fixed by this new prep program. Secondly, Pittsburgh basketball culture will actually be hurt by this.

Throw back to the 7 seed Titans defeating the 3 seed Central Valley in the 2012 AAA Semifinals. DiAngelo Mitchell made a game saving tackle with no time on the clock. Titans' Derrick Fulmore converted a 2 point conversion in OT to send the Titans to Heinz Field.
