This trend of creating a right vs. wrong discourse surrounding every movie these days is absurd and embarrassing. Nobody from critics to producers to the average moviegoer should have their opinion discredited on the grounds of it differing from how the "fans" feel

Do I think professional critics throw out absurd criticisms toward movies that aren't in their wheelhouse? Yes, all the time. However, it's a subjective artform and if that shit bothers them, so be it.
