In fact it may exacerbate it with the weight loss.We should focus on the latter regardless of association or causality given the impact of symptomatic disease requiring cholecystectomy

What are your thoughts on the potential for an internal hernia around this “omental band”, and what size defect would you use this technique on.

Heavyweight mesh for sure. Don’t have a lot of experience utilizing bone anchors, as typically myofascial release=enough overlap where trans facials are sufficient.
