To all Gen Xers that suddenly feel betrayed... Zack, Tom @tmorello, Tim & Brad @BradWilkdrummer warned you about crap like this back in '92. There's still time. #Listen, #QuestionAuthority & #RageAgainstTheMachine. You just might learn something. #RATM

Kudos to Kyle Connor, Jake Guentzel, Brock Nelson, Jackson LaCombe & Jake Oettinger who prioritied their NHL teammates, fans & their quest for the Stanley Cup. I guess a 14 season @BuffaloSabres playoff drought isn't enough for @Tommer97.

[Buffalo Temple of Music, Sports, and Whatever @SethFromThe716]

Yeah, fuck Tage Thompson.

I'm not rooting for this motherfucker anymore, and if the team can find a way to trade him off the Buffalo Sabres, I would applaud the move.

[Chris Ballard @cmbmlb]

Not gonna lie, this feels like an EPIC overreaction by the @BuffaloBills. The Bills had ROSTER and DEPTH issues. Last I knew that was the GM's territory, no? Yet Beane stays. #TypicalTerry

[Chris Ballard @cmbmlb]

@BuffaloBills O-line sure didn't #shnow up tonight.

[Chris Ballard @cmbmlb]

Shit play calling. Shit O-line play. Shit defense. Way to look like a disorganized mess in front of a national audience @BuffaloBills.

[Chris Ballard @cmbmlb]

@BuffaloBills get your defensive shit together. You look foolish out there. Josh can't always bail you out. #stepthefuckup

[Chris Ballard @cmbmlb]

The @BuffaloBills Defense is an absolute Trainwreck! Undisciplined penalties. Unable to wrap-up tackles. Folds under pressure. #pathetic

[Chris Ballard @cmbmlb]

The @BuffaloBills Defense is an absolute train wreck. Can't stop the run. Can't stop the pass. Team can't win without a Herculean effort by an offense that has become too predictable. #BillsMafia deserves way better.

[Chris Ballard @cmbmlb]

This is some pretty sad butchering skills @Wegmans🙄 2 of the 4 steaks had huge cuts in them. Of course they were packed with the good side facing out so the unsuspecting customer doesn't find out until you get home. For $34 I expected more than the Freddy Kreuger special.

[Chris Ballard @cmbmlb]

Boy the @NHL #brass really know how to bore the absolute f*ck out of you, eh? That was a convoluted mess that took WAY too long. That said Congrats @NYIslanders fans! Good thing you have tons of cap space... 🫣 Oops my bad.. 🤣

[Chris Ballard @cmbmlb]

@EmeraldCityHky #SEAKraken 🤣 Botterill being "aggressive" is dangerous. Like when he signed Jeff Skinner to an 8 year contract w/ $9M AAV. Sidney Crosby AAV was $8.7M & Steven Stamkos AAV was $8.5M & both had almost 2x the PPG production (Crosby 1.2 PPG, Stamkos 1.0 PPG, Skinner 0.6).

[Chris Ballard @cmbmlb]

Last one #SEAKraken fans...
Brandon Hagel was drafted by BUF in 2016. Botterill had "little interest in an overaged junior forward" & never signed his entry-level contract. Botterill relinquished Buffalo's rights to Hagel on June 1, 2018.

Let that sink in. That's your new #GM

[Chris Ballard @cmbmlb]

@wyshynski @buffsportschat Ignoring Hagel (kinda convenient) I'd pivot to Jeff Skinner's eight-year contract with an AAV of $9M. At the time it was more than Sidney Crosby ($8.7M) and Steven Stamkos ($8.5M) both of whom had almost double the PPG production (Crosby @ 1.2 PPG, Stamkos @ 1.0, Skinner @ 0.6).

[Chris Ballard @cmbmlb]

@Sabremetrix Well played @Sabremetrix . Very well played.

[Crossing Swords ⚔️ @CrossSwordsPod]

19 years ago today, Danny Briere wins it in OT on Buffalo’s 58th shot of the night. ⚡️

[Chris Ballard @cmbmlb]

@KevinK_92 @EmeraldCityHky 1000% Right!
Botterill's Free Agent signings in BUF:
Patrik Berglund
Vladimir Sobotka
Tage Thompson (6 year development)
Wayne Simmonds
Michael Frolik
Jacob Josefson
Seth Griffith
Benoit Pouliot
Jimmy Vesey
Chad Johnson
Carter Hutton
Scott Wilson
Marcus Johansson
#OnlyTheBest!

[Chris Ballard @cmbmlb]

@EmeraldCityHky Don't fall for hype #SEAKraken fans. BUF was 88-115-30 under Botterill. Lopsided trades. Bad contracts. Poor draft picks. Questionable free-agents. Dahlin was his lone bright spot. Yes he got Tage Thompson in O'Reilly trade, but it was a 6 YEAR PROJECT to mature Tage's game.
