@AskNationwide@Mollylou1988 Similar problem. Money transfer to another bank says it’s worked but over 90 minutes later hasn’t arrived. Something definitely wrong.
@WG_RumblePants@willis_macp With this mob it's all about whether your face fits, talent and form are down the list. Downing pints and dodging punches also considered preferable.
@ErikaMorris79@cric_blog Poor behaviour (again), blatantly unprofessional and lousy leadership. Quite apart from that, he's barely contributing anything to this team right now.
@WG_RumblePants In any other business, he'd be fired. If he was coming off a 4-1 series win and the team had barely changed, it might be OK....but (check notes), it's quite the opposite.
@WG_RumblePants In a way it's a win for Sooryavanshi. To see someone reacting like that to a wicket shows how much he's got in to the bowler's head. Jamieson should've just celebrated as normal, like it was nothing special getting him out. Maybe not an asshole, just a spur of the moment error.
@weymarplanet (3) What do I miss the most? The county championship being the core “product”, the pot the players most coveted, and just being able to pitch up at a match and get in.
@weymarplanet (2) That summer I sat under cover and listened to local old Caribbean dudes taking about the 3 Ws, Sovers and Constantine. It was an education. I saw Gavasksr score a double ton in a test, Jackman take 8-58. You could shoot pretty much anywhere you want.
@weymarplanet Yes, it’s as appealing even in a time when there are fewer English superstars. My parents bought me a Surrey season ticket when I was 13, it was the Roger Knight/Jackman/Alan Butcher/Intikhab Alam/Sylvester Clarke side. Very entertaining. The Oval was a welcoming melting pot. (1)
@JamieMagill5 Someone with the cojones to put KP in the team. He has to be. I mean, does anyone think Broad (just for starters) was easy to get on with.
@Yas_Wisden @WG_RumblePants It's actually really odd that Sussex has won two matches, whereas Surrey has drawn both, yet Sussex's lead over Surrey is just 4 points. (This from a Surrey supporter).
Hello fellow Surrey CCC members! If you love our club as much as I do, I can’t recommend highly enough that you cast your vote for Kim Barlow to be on the General Committee.
She is genuinely one of our own, couldn’t love the club more and — most importantly — she will be your voice on the GC and fight hard for members’ interests. She is a passionate county cricket supporter and an all round good egg.
Please vote for Kim Barlow. She has my vote 🤎
