@moonskoobie@VinnyB80@tlwiese@kylenabecker And maybe his turnover average has something to do with the "extra" defensive "attention" she's getting from rivals? Wonder why that is?
@_danielleeeees@BigRitt21@KayceSmith It's because of shortsighted, even if well intended people, that the WBNA is in the sorry state it is. Luckily and in spite of them, CC will change the game quite possibly forever...
@CoachRico15@ColinCowherd You are so wrong! I NEVER watched women's basketball, much less collegiate level! But I don't miss CC's games, win or lose!! And I live in Lima, Peru. Hi there... And now I appreciate other players too, because of HER!
@maggiesam12 @cbrennansports Without getting into the stats, in a team sport "best" is a little trickier to define. It could be argued that best is whoever brings more "value" to the team and sport and I don't mean just monetary value. Like, aspirational role model for kids? You see where I'm going?
@Boyle_OReilly @maggiesam12 @cbrennansports I think you are spot on the key difference. Some people are thinking about what's good for the sport, others, like you, on what they would personally like. That is, without getting into the surreal issue of who has the winnier personality, Griner or Clark!
@TulaneTiger@cbrennansports So your concept of "fairness" is to select 12 "deserving" players (by your criteria, out of dozens, big difference!) and put off the potential millions of extra youngsters and fans could bring to womens basketball if they could see CC play? Do you understand how silly that is?
You're wrong! The main reason CC has so many turnovers is that she draws the attention of 2 or 3 defense players. With her incredible passing ability this opens untold opportunities for her other excellent team mates. Once oponents realize that, CC will improve her numbers.
