Go to sleep. Wake up sorted.
I built Chief of Staff to review open threads, check overnight jobs and prepare the next steps for morning review.
A night shift for the systems I run.

@agshinrajabov Does the spec stay linked to a particular design version? I'd want to know when the agent's reading a handoff that predates the latest design changes.
@SpaceDataRig Do you also keep the fetched inputs from the original run? That'd let you separate a detector change from SPOC serving different data without relying on the final table matching.
@johnroodepic@Its_lakshya_ai How do you handle a saved conclusion when the code it came from changes? Does it keep a file or commit reference so the next session can check it?
@ihm185 Yeah, and a retry counter that never resets on real progress is useful too. I'm working on making that clearer in Steward, so a busy worker doesn't just look like a healthy one.
@adityabhatia89@shawnAIOperator Could each failed approach carry the commit or file hash it was checked against? Then the next agent could spot when the code has moved on before trusting the note.
@shadowaguy@realchendahuang Could you enforce that restriction in the tools or filesystem as well? If the agent can still write to it, the warning is relying on it choosing to listen.
@ihm185 Could it suggest the relevant file as the assumption is written, so you just have to confirm it? Otherwise the checks could look fine because nothing was linked.
@ihm185 Yes, that's what I wanted the checks to handle. Chief checks the linked file before a task closes or a completed result is reused. You still have to link the assumption to a file.
@WilliamLeik Right, Windows is still untested. Could you try the packaged example first and tell me your Python version and anything that breaks? Thanks for giving it a go.
I've added a local core to Chief of Staff. It keeps agreed decisions protected, flags changed evidence and gives Claude and Codex the same task rules.
It's now downloadable. I'd love to hear where it still falls short.

New Steward film. I built it to checkpoint long Claude Code runs and resume after the usage reset.
The portable preview also supports Codex and local models. Switching provider starts a fresh chat from the checkpoint.

@HiAmanKapoor So one task takes all your attention, even when other work could move. Would seeing why other tasks are blocked and what decision they need help you switch? I've added that report to my Chief of Staff: https://t.co/MFG5UC0dEU
@ihm185 Your old-schema example helped shape an update to my Chief of Staff. It now saves a file fingerprint beside an assumption and flags it when that file changes. Claude and Codex use the same checks. https://t.co/MFG5UC0Lus
This download handles local decisions, tasks and file evidence. My inbox, calendar and other integrations are separate. If a file changes, the hash flags it.
