@alexcox I think Facebook marketing is mistaking my market for yours! This seems more like you (only perhaps the trans/combo edition would be better): https://t.co/BVxGHWJKA1
@jsnell I entirely agree. The absence of a shell and tools like emacs are one reason why iOS and iPadOS are largely dead to me. I like them fine, but as a programmer whole classes of tools is denied me there. iSH was a partial work-around, and now it’s getting kicked off the AppStore.
@caseyliss Did love your discussion about youtube-dl on ATP. The RIAA is literally trying to prevent you from accessing what is already sent to your browser. We can do the same things with browser dev tools. It’s just more tedious.
@ParallelsCares I switched to vmware because of your per host licensing. I used multiple hosts in a day (work machine, home laptop, and home desktop), but never more than one at a time (at least essentially). Wish you hadn’t driven me away.
@marcoarment With Karabiner (or with a programmable external keyboard) I use caps lock as both escape and control. The no-escape MacBook Pro drove me to it.
I have reread this tweet five times.
It seems so . . . tantalizingly like English, doesn’t it?
“Red benches,” “Wednesday.” Those are words! I know their meaning!
And yet, when strung together . . . what are British people saying? Are they asking for food? A battery jump? What?
