Trump ran on 3 major promises:
1. Lower prices
2. No new wars
3. Cut the national debt.
1. Everything cost more today under Trump (gas, food)
2. We are at war with Iran
3. Debt at all time high: $40 trillion.
Imagine if the media actually just told this story.
This is why I already cancelled my membership to The Athletic. Like, seriously, who wrote this shit?
Anyone with a cursory understanding of this #Wizards roster could tell you all the stuff wrong here. How is a human being who writes about the NBA for a living so clueles??

What a nightmare. By implementing the tariffs illegally, and now having to unwind them, the Trump administration created over $100 billion of profit for corporations selling foreign products, at the expense of American consumers.
Your refund: $0.00
Apple’s profit: $2.2 billion
It seems like @GovKathyHochul and @NewYorkStateAG want to kill Prediction Markets by any means necessary, but that is a mistake.
Banning Prediction Markets will result in the following:
1) people will go back to betting offshore if they are long term winners
2) people will go back to betting on sportsbooks if they are long term losers, and the sportsbooks are incentivized to make them remain long term losers
3) Any hope of long term hedging utility and valuable economic data sourced from Prediction Markets would be gone
Taking a hammer to the industry is not the best way to watch out for consumers. Regulation, and working with all parties involved to ensure the best environment for all users, is how we should move forward.
A Chicago-area man placed four $500 bets on an NBA game at odds of 350-to-1. All six parts of his bet came true, worth $389,000. Minutes before tipoff, BetMGM made his winning tickets disappear.
– Mark Aiello, a Navy veteran from Roselle Illinois, opened the BetMGM app on March 2 2025, hours before a Chicago Bulls vs. Indiana Pacers game.
– He placed four separate $500 bets on specific players rebounds and assists, needing six different outcomes to all hit for any of it to pay out.
– BetMGM's own traders had reviewed and accepted at least one of his bets hours earlier, according to Aiello. By his own tracking, all six legs landed.
– Minutes before tipoff, without warning, his BetMGM app showed all four bets grayed out, as if he'd never placed them at all.
– BetMGM's message cited an "obvious error," saying the odds had been "incorrect or inflated" under its house rules.
– This keeps happening because a casino is the house. It sets the odds, holds the money, and decides after the fact whether your win counts.
– A prediction market doesn't work that way. There's no house, you're matched peer-to-peer, and your payout comes from the person who took the other side, not a company deciding whether to honor the number on your screen.
– His story aired on CBS News Chicago in March 2025 and went viral, drawing over a million views online.
– He filed a formal complaint with the Illinois Gaming Board.
– In June 2025, the Board sided entirely with BetMGM, ruling the company had acted within its rights, and confirming BetMGM's own admission that the odds had been the result of an internal pricing glitch.
– Even at what BetMGM considers the "correct" odds for the same bet, Aiello would still have been owed roughly $40,000.
– BetMGM has given no indication it will pay even that.
He watched every single part of an almost impossible bet come true on his own screen, then watched it all disappear before the final whistle.
The most Dean Kremer stat of all time:
His wins above average during his Orioles career was exactly 0.0.
That means Kremer was precisely a league-average pitcher for the Orioles across his 707.2 innings since 2020.

That is legitimately concerning
This video is a TOTAL JOKE

@Liberal_Monkeys@BulwarkOnline I love that the only defense left of this man is to bring up stuff about Biden or Obama. Is it that hard to comprehend that pointing out his behavior does not equate to being a Biden supporter? That defense of trump falls flat. Biden said stupid stuff too, that’s not the point
My wife and I got into it last night about the grocery bill.
I pulled up an old Target order from February 2020.
28 items. $64.50.
Added every single one back to the cart just to see.
$158.30.
Same 28 items. Same store. Same cart.
$93.80 more.
In five years.
We didn’t buy more.
Didn’t upgrade anything.
Didn’t add a single extra item.
Just needed the same things we always needed.
They told us inflation was transitory. They told us it was under control. They told us the economy was strong.
Our cart didn’t get any of those memos.
145% increase in five years.
Not one member of Congress has looked at a grocery receipt in decades.
And it shows.
