While I may be the first woman in this office, I will not be the last—because every little girl watching tonight sees that this is a country of possibilities.
“It’s easier to be a parent this morning. It’s easier to be a dad. It’s easier to tell your kids character matters. It matters. Tell them the truth matters."

Nothing random about the murders in Kenosha. You don’t get a white 17 year old killing protestors w/ an AR-15 w/out the President first vilifying protestors, a gun lobby that has cowed Congress into allowing the sale of weapons of war, & a racism stoked by Trump & his enablers.
I’m tired of the stupidity. I’m tired of the selfishness. I’m tired of arguing over facts. I’m tired of the fights. I’m tired of the conspiracies. I’m tired of the insanity. I’m tired of not having a world I know how to explain to my kids. I’m tired.
TRUMP JUST NOW AT RALLY:
“Aunt Jemima folks. Je-mi-ma. No more Jemima. (Mimes eating pancake, crowd cheers) Is she real? Somebody should look into- it’s a big shame though. Beautiful syrup. Beautiful woman.”
JK this didn’t happen, but you thought it did, and that’s the problem.
It’s been two weeks, can we all agree to drop the pretense that “we all” have “so much free time” now? Everyone I know is stretched to the limits of their emotional capacity and/or is dealing with an increased workload, professionally and/or domestically. What is this free time?
Spent years worrying about my upper arms:
How big they are.
How they look.
What others think of them.
Never worried about a pandemic.
And now here we are:
No job.
No income.
The end of life as we know it.
Lesson: don’t waste time worrying about your fucking upper arms
