For context imagine working at your job for two decades and then having to change industries.

3 ways I accelerated this transition (that you can apply whether you are an athlete or not)….

1. Your Contact List

I reached out to everyone in my contact list that was thriving in something I had interest in.

I met with them, asked questions, and learned.

2. Humility

Going from being elite at something to starting over is hard. The quickest way to accelerate this change is humility.

No one has it all figured out, be willing to accept that for yourself.

3. Thirst For Learning

In 2023 information is available, use it. I read books, listened to podcasts, and took courses.

All with actionable takeaways to my next journey.

Whether you are transitioning careers or changing jobs, it can be hard.

So remember friends use the things available to you to accelerate this!
