@ROWPublicHealth
When do we get an inquiry?
I'd love to be able to ask our MOH some questions... but she had me banned from your building with a "do not trespass order"

@Rachel87840565@Kristamich1 I've also heard: if it's gods plan, then so be it, the Lord will protect me or take me. Many of them are fairly religious (new immigrants).
Told a director of care from LTC to put a FRICKING MASK ON in the elevator. She spouted some nonsense about not having to so I yelled back at her COVID IS AIRBORNE IDIOT
@Rachel87840565@Kristamich1 They think only the old get sick. They have no idea how many LTC workers have died.
If they want an n95 many of them need to ask the head nurse and the respirators are still tucked away in a locked room.
I see many just "sneaking in for a second" without any PPE.
This should NOT be happening in LTC after 4 full years of pandemic. Are we a smart, caring country? If so, where is the air filtration for LTC? Where are the N95s? The paid sick days? The staff training on an airborne disease?
@crwequine My ex worked for the CFIA (Food Inspection agency) and spent months there supervising culls of livestock back in the early 2000s. It was a massive project.
@MarvinCori @ROWPublicHealth Yes. Hubby is a tax collector. I'm somewhat aware of how people can get themselves into trouble in self employment. I think I'd have an accountant.
@JessicaGimeno I always introduce myself to my patients so I did, stating my name and looking directly at the director. So she'd know who to complain about when she calls our office.
@JessicaGimeno She stepped out of the elevator saying elevators aren't a patient care area. So I said, wow, looks like you're now in a pt care area. She grabbed a surg mask, went in her office then came back out to talk to the patient I was there to examine and I took the patient away.
@co2detective4@ROWPublicHealth I decided today that one of my goals for homeschooling will be teaching “self-employment”. Even if they choose otherwise, they will know it can be done as plan B.
@MarvinCori @ROWPublicHealth I love that.
I have a craft table at a bazaar in a week.
Trying to show daughter that you can do what you love and be independent. (I lack business skills big time tho)
That’s what ‘living with’ has historically meant. Enduring something, while trying to prevent, control and treat. But the ‘living with’ slogan for Covid means something fundamentally and historically different. It means to do nothing. Just infect, repeatedly. /3
It’s wild that my kids teachers need to supply tissue boxes for their classrooms in Ontario schools.
Tissues, soap, paper towels .. those are important for basic hygiene and health. How can the government not fund that?
@Kca3kids@ROWPublicHealth That's unfortunate. I hope you don't have long term issues like many. Wear a respirator, ventilate and filter the air. There are things you can do to protect your household. Public health should be sharing this info.
For anyone that needs help to stop household spread:
The utter disregard for life.
Hundreds of thousands dead.
Millions left disabled
&WE ARE STILL NOT PROTECTING UK PUBLIC AGAINST POTENTIALLY VERY SERIOUS LONG TERM CONSEQUENCES OF REPEATED SARS2 INFECTIONS (SARS2 triggered chronic disease: LC, cardiovas, neuro, DM)
Where is PH?
