Random thought of the day...CJFL has produced 100s of pro-football players AND provides you the option of pursuing academics or entering the work force. Too many kids turn their nose up to junior football...a great option for most. The grass is greenest where you water it! ๐ค
COD and agility are two different things.
Think of COD as practice work.
Angles. Form. Footwork. Breakdowns.
Think of agility as a live event.
Reaction. Decision making. Competition.
The problem is that most people only do COD drills (closed ended drills (scripted) going through cones and calling it agility.
If you know where youโre going to go next, there is no thought process going on.
Sports need random and reactive decisions.
If your drill doesnโt have a reactive component, itโs not agility.

Confidence is not about guaranteeing success, itโs about knowing that if adversity strikes, you have the strength, skill and perseverance to rise.
Thank you to @CoachBone and @UABearsFootball for the great camp! Grateful to receive QB MVP of the camp and walk away with my first @USPORTSca scholarship offer to continue my football career at the University of Alberta!๐ก๐ข

On this Martin Luther King Jr. Day, we are reminded of the powerful legacy Dr. King left behind, not just through his words but through his relentless pursuit of justice and equality for all. One of his most profound statements is, "Lifeโs most persistent and urgent question is, What are you doing for others?" Today, as we honor his memory, we are called to reflect on this question and ask ourselves how we can serve, uplift, and bring about change, just as Dr. King did.
Dr. Kingโs vision for a better society wasn't just about dreaming of change; it was about actively working for it. We all have a purpose and now more than ever itโs important that we come together across this country, show up for our neighbors, and use our individual gifts and talents to be the change we want to see in the world. #mlkday2025
