@dshelton66 Please go look at Gray's football schedule this past year. If they are worried about safety, why voluntarily schedule IMG Academy (FL), Clearwater Academy (FL), Porter (GA), St. Johns (Wash DC), and Hammond (4A here in SC)
Congratulations to LHS softball star Karley Hand on signing her letter of intent this morning to play at Charleston Southern!

HS baseball ALWAYS comes first. For those travel orgs telling their families & players you don't need to play HS bc there aren't any scouts there, get over yourself! C'mon people! Immediate red flag! What will a college coach say when you tell them you chose to not play HS? 🤦🏼♂️
My baby girl is 18 today!!!! Top of her class, signed to play softball at the next level in college, beautiful, dedicated, great work ethic…..oh, and very, very stubborn. Haha. Look out world, here she comes. https://t.co/p0iaLwpvPQ
I am excited to announce that I am committed to Lander University! I want to thank my family and all of my coaches that have helped me throughout my softball career! @LanderSoftball@LLG_Cox18U@NMB_Softball
@LouatTheState Let’s take the word “recruiting” out of the conversation. However, the bottom line is that it is unfair for public schools that are restricted by attendance boundaries to compete with these private schools for championships. Exclude them from playoffs or make them compete in 5A.
If I were recruiting a player to play at my college, and I saw a tweet, FB post etc., that said the player didn't want to play for his HS team, I'd scratch them off my recruitment list that day. I think it sends a very negative impression. Comes off as uncoachable.
