@AuburnHippie I genuinely don’t understand the hype around this guy. Is he a bad coach? No. Is the lack of relevant coaches inflating the value of these G5 coaches? Yes. I think DJ is the best for fit for right now.

@barnsalot I really don’t think hiring Durk for at least a full year is a horrible decision. This cycle is so bad I think the odds of landing a program changing G5 coach is like trying find salt in sand.

I have no idea what will end up happening with Auburn’s head coaching position.

Do I want Sumrall? Yes. Would I survive with someone else? Yes.

But no matter who we hire, come July, I will have developed an unhealthy and undeserved amount of confidence in my team

@Zblackerby I think DJ is the best fit for us tbh. Summerall hasn’t proved anything outside of G5 and honestly I’m scared of these G5 coaches coming up to a real big school (with historical prestige) and expecting change look at Harsin, Freeze, and although I love Guz even him.

Keep durkin=retain most of the players.
