Somewhere along the line, “Playing multiple sports is good!” turned into, “you have to play all of your sports simultaneously year round!”

We’ve lost the plot. Kids cannot play a baseball, basketball, and football season all at the same time.

@CoachYashinsky @CoachDorn95 @CoachGower @Hudl @HudlSupport Yeah that would be a mess with how we do it. All position coaches put notes on so you would have 5 different notes on these same clips. I like that if I just share it with my position group they can see all notes and learn. Or are you saying no notes on plays at all?

Maybe there is an easy way, but I struggled to make comments on plays and then only share it with my position group, in a playlist that is just those plays. Seemed like everyone would get access to comments

@CoachYashinsky @CoachGower @Hudl @HudlSupport Comments and drawing is so much more smooth on old Hudl. Also sharing notes on old Hudl is so much easier to select groups. If they can merge those items with new Hudl then it would be fine. I use new Hudl for all my gameplanning, so it’s just the feedback on film.

As a high school athlete, if you’re not taking the weight room and 𝙥𝙪𝙧𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙚𝙛𝙪𝙡 𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙚𝙙 𝙙𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 seriously, you are giving a huge advantage to athletes in your region who are. That gets exposed fast in season, especially if your offseason was spent playing a thousand travel games instead of developing/improving.

🚨Spartan JV wins the Stoughton JV invite at Coachman’s golf course.The Spartans shot 313 as a team and were led by Thatcher Martin who carded a 2-over 73!

Younger NFL coaches aren’t magically better at clock management.

They grew up running 2-minute drills on Madden, literally thousands of reps.

Clock awareness. Timeout value. Down-and-distance urgency. When to spike. When to bleed.

They learned situational football the same way pilots learn emergencies: repetition without consequence.

What you see now are coaches who have made risk-reward football decisions over and over, reps matter.
