Basketball is not an equal opportunity sport!
The best shooters will shoot more.
The best dribblers will dribble more.
The best defenders will be on the floor more.
Get your reps up, get better!

Team Trezz 6’5 2029 Quantay James (Northern Nash HS) competes with great energy on both ends of the floor. He defends multiple positions effectively using his quick footwork and length to stifle dribble penetration and also disrupting passing lanes with anticipation and quickness. A very good rebounder whose quick footwork on the perimeter is matched with physicality inside and explosive leaping ability. Quantay is an excellent repeat jumper whose second jump is seemingly as explosive as the first! On the offensive end he is especially dangerous in transition as he gets end to end with the dribble with good quickness. He can make a dribble move in stride using in and outs and crossovers. He’s also a heady playmaker who sees the floor nicely and makes great decisions with the ball. In the half court he uses a quick burst playing off hesitations and quick rips, rangy strides and gets to the rim in a flash! Quantay can explode off the floor for rim rocking slams but also uses crafty footwork and a nice touch on non dunk finishes. Able to finish with either hand at the rim. He’s a threat with the jumper stepping in off the dribble and moving off the ball for catch and shoot opportunities. Has deep three point range that extends well beyond the high school arc. He uses the shot fake nicely against a hard close out into 1 and two dribble pull ups or employing his rangy strides and burst to attack space vigorously. Quick cutting to the rim for catch and finish opportunities and an obvious lob target. Quantay averaged 14 points, 7.5 rebounds per game and helped lead Northern Nash HS to the NCHSAA 6A Championship this season, their first title since 1968! Elite athleticism, versatility and a great motor! One of the Tar Heel state’s most promising prospects! #BigShots #NCMemorialClassic @BigShotsToday@BigShotsGlobal
