I ranked a kid "D3" & a parent replied "so I guess my kid should just quit"
First of all, having any chance to play college hoops at any level is a blessing
But much more importantly, maybe, just maybe, working harder is a better reaction to "adversity" than quitting
What does 'playing hard' mean in basketball?
🏀Sprinting the floor
🏀Staying in a stance on D
🏀Not taking shortcuts
🏀Going after every rebound & loose ball
🏀Sliding over and taking a charge
🏀Beating your opponent to the spot
🏀Maintaining positive body language
Parents of 16-18 yr olds...take ur kid to the track tomorrow and see if he can run an 8 minute mile. Then see if he can bench 135-times...if not the money ur paying for private lessons, travel ball is USELESS. Stop wondering why ur kid is average. Get to the root of the problem
