There was an alumni soccer game at Callaway Stadium today featuring former LaGrange High players. This is the 40th anniversary of the creation of the school's soccer program, so it was a good time for the first alumni game, and everyone had a great time.

Winners do what it takes to win in practice.
"Winning requires you to be different and different scares people.
Some individuals compete just to finish.
Some people win at winning.
You are either interested or obsessed.
Interested is a hobby.
Obsession comes in the small details that no one pays attention to."

COLLEGE SOCCER RECRUITMENT ADVICE
“Is this ID camp worth it or is it a mass email?”
Got asked this question by the parent of a 9th grader today about a D1 school ID camp and the answer is, both.
Was it a mass email? Yes. It’s not a guarantee of committal and almost all communication starts en masse. But there is some value to it if you have the time and money. Three benefits in my eyes;
1 - ID camps can be nerve racking, attending multiple events before your ‘commitment’ window can desensitize your son/daughter to nerves and have them perform better in future.
2 - Older kids. Going to an event where you will face older kids than you face week to week can benefit development. That little bit more strength, speed and game sharpness can make the day a struggle, a good thing for long term development.
3 - Networking. Lots of staff and schools can be there and a connection made can come back in years to complete the cycle. When I was head coach at Bates, I signed many kids I first met as young players at larger ID events than my Bates clinic. It wasn’t where they were signed, but it was where the road started.
Never stretch yourself past your resources in terms of time and money, but if these events work within your means they do have value.
Anyone interested in help with college search, DMs open.
If you want to talk about hush money for sexual indiscretions by politicians, consider this: in the past 25 years, the Office of Congressional Workplace Rights has paid a staggering $18.2 million of *taxpayer dollars* to settle 291 cases of sexual harassment & other misconduct committed by members of Congress. The public shouldn’t be paying for this nonsense.
We’re fixing corruption. No one will be spared.
@ChatSoccr In Ga it stops at 10
Goals. If 1 team has 7 goals within the 1st 20
Minutes then the half ends and 2nd half is 20 minutes long or until you get to 10 goals.
