@coachkou Most Ds can have a good plan vs balanced, open flexbone sets. But this clip, it's literally impossible for Kutz to be sound, the form (OT over) & D call (Cloud), mean they end up with 2 D gap players (CB and 9) and the b/s safety is stuck on #1 instead of rocking with the motion.

@coachkou In general, it's definitely harder for an OT to climb to a guy at 7 yards than a guy at 4 or 5. If the deep Mike is truly always a QB player, depth is gonna make his job easier. You get in trouble when (due to formation or D call) you need him to play the FB like in this clip.

For a college football team he is an ideal Star/Nickel or Boundary Safety. As physical as needed with legit cover skills and elite character/leadership!
