I ACCIDENTALLY UNLOCKED "GOD MODE" IN CHATGPT,
AND IT STARTED TEACHING ME THINGS I DIDN'T KNEW EXISTED.
HERE ARE THOSE 7 CHATGPT PROMPTS THAT WILL CHANGE EVERYTHING FOR YOU:
Here’s a Javorek complex we use on our Olympic days.
High pull
Drop clean with a pause
Push press
Overhead squat with a pause
3x3
Light, smooth practice and a great warm up for movements to come.
Adds up to a lot of volume over the years, too.
This contact prep drill is 🔥
Before rolling it out with athletes, try it yourself and run it with your staff first. That’s where the real learning happens.
As @JustinOchoa317 mentioned on his podcast, about 70% of what we do is tried-and-true, 20% comes from emerging research, and 10% is the stuff we experiment with on ourselves and our staff before it ever reaches athletes.
This drill lives squarely in that 10%.
Play with it. Stress-test it. Figure out where it fits before you plug it into your program.
In this episode, Yosef and I go way beyond just this drill — we get into muscle fiber shifting, contraction types, collagen behavior, energy storage, and more.
Wild part? All of that comes from pages 46–60 of Supertraining.

Oz Pearlman teaches you how to never forget the name of someone you just met.
I’ve been using these techniques for a couple months and they work brilliantly.
@OzTheMentalist
The hurdle drill cleaned up more of our pull issues than anything else.
Why we use it:
• Forces depth on the pull
First 2–4 steps matter. Kids who cheat depth get exposed immediately.
• Separates kick vs wrap paths
Kick comes downhill.
Wrap gains depth, gets square, eyes inside.
• Teaches speed through contact
If they slow down at the hurdle, they’ll slow down on Friday night.
• Fixes aiming points
Kick = same shoulder as pull direction.
Wrap = inside shoulder, run through daylight.
• Eliminates chasing
Wrap guard learns to stay on track and let the RB make him right.
• Progresses cleanly
Hurdles → bags → coaches → live reads.
Same drill, more reality.
We run kick and wrap at the same time so timing and spacing stay game-real.
Simple setup. Clear feedback.
Big carryover to Buck, Counter, Power.
That drill (plus how we coach it and common mistakes) is laid out step-by-step here:
