To every former and serving governor, minister, senator, member of the House of Representatives, permanent secretary, director-general, political appointee and senior public servant parading mansions in London, Dubai, Abuja, Lagos and elsewhere:

When did you buy yours?
How much did it cost?
What was your source of funds?
What business generated the money?
Was it bought before or after you entered public office?
Was it declared?
Can you produce the paper trail?

Because if a 26-year-old businessman's London property acquired decades ago is worthy of endless suspicion, then the wealth accumulated by people who spent their careers living on public salaries and occupying positions of public trust should not be placed beyond scrutiny.

You cannot turn “Where did he get the money?” into a political weapon while treating “Where did you get yours?” as an act of treason.

And please, spare Nigerians the sanctimonious lectures about fraud from people who become suddenly allergic to transparency when the searchlight turns toward their own properties.

Before you point your finger at another man's cupboard, open yours.

Let Nigerians see the title documents.
Let them see the acquisition dates.
Let them see the funding trail.
Let them see the declarations.

If everything is clean, why the fear of the light?

Accountability is not selective. Transparency is not partisan. And the law does not become optional because the person being questioned is politically useful to you.

So, gentlemen and ladies of public office, before you call anyone a fraud:

Tell Nigerians what you own, when you acquired it, how you paid for it—and where the money came from.

The same standard you demand of others should survive when the searchlight reaches your own doorstep.

Let me tell you guys a very interesting story. You know when I say something is interesting, you have to believe me🍿

Lee Kang-in was scouted at the age of 10 in Korea, and invited for trials in Valencia which he aced.

According to FIFA rules, a 10 year old boy cannot be transferred to Europe from another continent. That’s why you see players like Estevao, they have to be 18 before they move. Anything less than 18 years old, you’re a minor.

However, there’s an exception to this rule. If your parents will relocate with you, but they must not relocate BECAUSE OF YOU. That is, they will not relocate for footballing reasons.

Once your parents relocate with you to that country for non-footballing reasons, then the club can sign you.

Brethren, most footballers you see that have succeeded, there’s a parent that has made crazy sacrifices for them. Even in the UK, from the age of 5, parents are taking their kids to training everyday, traveling with them for trials even if they fail most of them, taking them to school equally, and still having to work to pay bills. Parents are everything.

Guess what happened with Kang-in Lee?

His father relocated to Valencia way before he was going to join the Valencia academy. His father opened a taekwondo studio in Valencia and started training people how to fight taekwondo. The man couldn’t even speak Spanish, but learned.

That was a source of income, so his father’s relocation was treated as “relocation for non-footballing reasons”, which will qualify 10 year old Kang-in Lee to be signed by Valencia from abroad.

His mother also resigned from her job as an Hospital Administrator in Korea, to join her husband in running the Taekwondo studio in Valencia, Spain. It doesn’t stop there, his two sisters also relocated. The whole family relocated for the dream of a 10-year old who they weren’t sure was going to make it.

The talent was there, but he had to make it. He MUST make it. The whole family left their lives to focus on his, no chance of not making it😅

For people wondering, this was how the underage rule didn’t affect 10 year old Kang-in Lee.

He gets the ball, drives forward, goes into the box and then misuses it. He comes back. He gets it again, does the same thing. Drives forward, crosses, loses the ball, comes back again.

I want to call Marcus and say, ‘Brother, what exactly is your style of play?’

Because this driving-and-crossing routine is clearly not working for Manchester United, and it’s certainly not working for him.

And the frustrating thing is that Manchester United already have players who were showing us something different. Šeško, Mbeumo, Amad, Cunha last season that attack was tearing teams apart. Brighton were one of the teams on the receiving end of it.

Then one player comes back into the picture and suddenly you see the same old problems.

The combinations disappear. The movement becomes predictable. The attack becomes easier to defend.

That cannot be normal.

And this is where I question Carrick.

You have Matheus Cunha sitting on the bench while Rashford is starting again. Why?

If you watched the Manchester City game, if you watched Rashford tonight, what exactly did you see that convinced you he had to start?

Carrick has worked hard to build a team with movement, intensity and different attacking options. You cannot keep changing that balance just because a player has a big name.

At some point, you have to select players based on what they are giving you now.

Marcus Rashford has ability. Nobody can deny that.

But right now, he looks like a player searching for a version of himself that we haven’t seen for a long time.

And Manchester United cannot keep waiting for that version to return while the team suffers for it.

For me, this is no longer about one bad performance.

Rashford is simply not giving Manchester United what a top winger or a top finisher should give them.

And Carrick has to be brave enough to accept that.”
