SORRY IF THIS OFFENDS SELF-CHECKOUT WORKERS, BUT I'M DONE...

I just scanned $140 worth of my own groceries, bagged them myself, and weighed my own produce.

Then the machine asked if I wanted to donate $2 to "help end hunger."

ABSOLUTELY NOT.

You eliminated 4 cashier jobs to boost corporate profit margins, made me do all the manual labor for free, and then asked ME for a tax write-off donation?

If you're making customers do the work, give us a 10% employee discount at checkout.

THAT'S NOT A COMMUNITY INITIATIVE, THAT'S CORPORATE SUBSIDY.
