@shashpicious_ agree with personas and wireframes, but how to design without research? also have watched this interview and I'm curious what is alternative to the design process
the most scary thing is that algorithm can shape my opinions and narrow my interests, make me consume more. sooo I need to minimize using social networks :)
I have been using this app to follow designers, see trends, get to know what is relevant and what needs my attention. so I like the content from my followings here. contrary to that, I'm afraid that on other social networks of mine I'm stuck in the bubble brought by algorithm
My word for 2024: Play
Both personally and professionally, I want to get curious and explore and tinker and laugh and not take things too seriously and do things just for enjoyment and have lots and lots of fun
im swimming three, four times per week, currently working with trainer on my freestyle technique — it was total game changer. I feel so happy! Having high urge to get Apple Watches to track my progress
Do the hard thing now. Decline the invite right when you receive it. Have the difficult conversation before the conflict begins to fester. Give somebody the feedback as soon as they start bothering you. Yes, patience is a virtue, but paralysis can crush you. Courage acts fast.
Today I'm launching my new book 🎉
"The Path to Senior Product Designer" is an actionable guide to growing your UX design career.
Designers are obsessed with Figma and design systems while these are just a fraction of what companies look for in designers.

Secret to making your design system scalable:
Don't think in terms of product use cases only. Instead take those use cases and try to categorize them by roles.
When we start building systems, teams usually get together and do the audit of the product to build something that should work for all those use cases. Each feature built after that is usually focusing on a specific request, but you should get a habit of doing the same type of audit for each new feature.
Someone asks you to render an avatar in your component. Do they only need avatars there or will someone else come to you tomorrow asking to render some other component? Is the role of that avatar directly related to the overall role of your component? For example, a request to render an icon in the button is generic enough and makes sense to support as a separate use case, but providing a specific layout for the core card might be not.
P.S. Not all design systems should be scaling
forgot airpod maxs at home, i didnt realize how i get used to it. the best purchase adding comfort for daily working process: good sound on calls and mute when too noisy around
