I was literally about to climb the stage to talk about going beyond conversations, taking action, and building things before figuring it all out; when this email came in.

Someone had just purchased a 365-day ad placement on one of my Naija Radio spots for ₦104,286.

I honestly thought it was a sandbox notification bug 😂

Checked AdsRoster again this morning, checked Bachs too, and nope, it’s real money.

Naija Radio now has over 13K listeners as at this morning, and I’ve been using that reach to help businesses, artists, games, and other products get in front of more people.

Seeing advertisers come back, doing 6-month duration, and now someone committing to a full year, makes me feel like this experiment is actually working.

Distribution has value. The interesting part is building the infrastructure that lets people monetize it.
