Taxing a thing discourages people from doing it, income tax discourages working, consumption tax discourages buying, wealth tax discourages success. No tax encourages work, buying, selling, and success for everyone.

@ChrisMartzWX The intention was that SS would be like insurance, but governments don't invest, they only spend. So your description is both correct, and not what it's supposed to be.
@La_Diana@xai@premium@warpdotdev If you prefer https://t.co/mGnUKkhJK9 over the others you can drop https://t.co/wCQKpRJ6Gp and get a pay as you go account for https://t.co/mGnUKkhJK9, use the console or any front end you prefer. Your bill will be much lower, but you won't be able to curse in X posts.

@themaddierune I visited my brother in Birmingham years ago, we went to a see a movie "Con Air". Truly cringe worthy attempts at an Alabama accent. Maybe it seemed worse because I had been hearing the real deal all day.
@Rasmussen_Poll I don't care where someone was born. I do care if they have entered this country legally and remain here working with legal status, or not. And I do care that the proper requirements for H1B are followed and Citizens are hired before workers are imported.
