@kristijan_kralj For me it's Service -> Repo -> Db. Service holds business logic and repo is a dumb layer that simply interacts with the database. Makes testing a breeze. Debugging is easy. My repo layer even uses dapper so no ef core black box
@duonine The Chinese government is probably subsidizing a lot of the AI costs over there because it's the easiest way to get people to submit all their personal data to them.
@Invested_Medici@Dilmerv Tech people can create products and services but not always a successful business. Often times tech people will co-found with a business person so that they can drive the business while they continue to invent.
The reason why RAM has become four times more expensive is that a huge amount of RAM that has not yet been produced was purchased with non-existent money to be installed in GPUs that also have not yet been produced, in order to place them in data centers that have not yet been built, powered by infrastructure that may never appear, to satisfy demand that does not actually exist and to obtain profit that is mathematically impossible.
@ilyaskazi@dev_TEMITAYO 2/2 There's also the option of providing a demo so that the client can see something as well. I've had to do a few demos for larger projects even though my CV is solid. Clients don't speak our language.
@ilyaskazi@dev_TEMITAYO I'm a backend developer and I've gotten referrals. Most of my work does not have a UI or is proprietary to another client but potential clients want to see what I've done. I simply let them know of the tangible results of my work. 1/2
