Different salaries should only affect how luxurious your life is, not your food quality or ability to afford rent. If you work 40 hours at any job, your income should be enough to live in the town you work in. Thinking otherwise is an abysmal indicator of your humanity.
@MaxwellST_ How is this a indicative of skill at all? This doesn’t reward skill, just time investment. With sbmm it’s not reasonable to expect even good players to massively exceed a 70% winrate. That’s what 1.0 champs often had if memory serves. Even with that it’s too many games.
@Poxonlox Still sucks you have to reach super sayian levels of unemployment to hit the number of games required to reach any significant rank. That was what I hated most about ranked 2.0.
@MrJamesMay@prieurdp I can. It seems literally everyone else can’t, yet insist on doing it anyway. Why can’t they reverse out of their spaces rather than holding up the entire lot?
1.25 win rate means you win 5 and lose 4 out of 9 games you play
If every win is 20 and every loss is 23, that’s +8 elo per 9 matches played
From emerald 5 to champ 5 it’s 1100 elo
1100 divided by 8 multiplied by 9
Roughly 1237 games per season
Nobody plays this much
So R6 ranked is actually cooked now
Most good players are getting placed in Emerald and are winning only 20 points per win and losing 23 per loss
If you maintain a 1.25 W/R the entire season, it’d take 1237 games to reach Champ V
14 games and 8 hours per day.
Great job Ubi
