The future isn't AI.
The future is what AI does to human behavior.
I've been thinking about three modes:
The Immersive - Living inside systems designed by others.
The Intentional- Choosing boundaries and protecting what matters.
The Strategic- Using technology as leverage.
Most people on X would think this is a hierarchy.
BUT I'm not sure...
Some of the happiest people I know are far more intentional than strategic.
But one thing feels true:
If you don't consciously choose your mode, someone else will.
The web was built for human eyes. But the front door is changing. LLMs and agents are becoming how we find information , not search, not 10 blue links.
So what should we actually be publishing?
Not SEO articles.
Structured, machine-readable sources of truth that agents can query and trust. (trust is key!)
I've been calling it the Knowledge Oracle model. (workshopping the name)
Most publishers are still playing the 2019 game.

Its 2027 and Humans are the API layer for the real world. AI does 90% of the work....then calls on us for the last 10%.
We still have Trust. Authority. Relationships. Taste. Accountability.
The meatsuit API layer
@gabeviggers Solo founder has changed alot in the last few years, but still tend to agree with your overall position. We will still see a shitload of successful solos
If AI becomes the superintelligence, humans might become the API layer for the real world.
Need something moved? Human.
Need a deal signed? Human.
Need taste, trust, context, or accountability? Human.
Not control exactly.
More like routing. Scary?
