It is a very large universe.
The prospect that there may be another planet with worse journalists really gives you an idea about just HOW BIG the universe is.
American Journalists are the dumbest group of smug people on this planet and in all of its history.
My mind is open to some other planet having worse journalists.
🗳️ Many have been asking me describe the potential signature verification loophole for Los Angeles mail in ballots.
It says: “If a voter is unable to sign, the voter can make a mark witnessed by one person.”
Here, the person drew a happy face & “witnessed” it with a scribble. That scribble isn’t validated as being a real person. No name, nothing.
While a happy face may draw scrutiny, a plain line would not.
This could hypothetically enable mass harvesting where the voter never fills out, signs or even sees their own ballot.
We should be told how many ballots show up without the voter’s signature.
Last night, the Los Angeles mayoral race had in 65.8% of expected votes, with 291,000 outstanding.
Today, they have 64.3% of expected votes in (less than yesterday) with an estimated 311,000 outstanding (more than yesterday).
Are they just going to keep increasing the number of remaining votes depending on how many they need to push Nithya Raman past Spencer Pratt?
This is absurd. Once a ballot is received in Florida it is immediately logged as received. Once the election ends at 7pm on election night, we know how many ballots have been cast. Once you know the total number of ballots it closes off avenues for cheating.
It's hard to overstate how much of an outlier California is for its slow vote-counting relative to literally any other state or almost any other industrialized democracy.
A Democrat in DC says she hates she’s forced to admit the Reflecting Pool now looks good.
“I thought it was a stupid idea to paint the Reflecting Pool, but it looks really good. It makes the reflection look extraordinarily prominent in a way it did not before, and I hate that.”
@nicksortor@USAttyEssayli Demand to see who has dropped off ballots after election night claiming to be couriers and what standards are used to establish “Bona Fide” couriers in practice
One good thing about what is happening to Pratt right now:
A bunch of West LA and Valley women crossed over to support him and are now witnessing things from the other side
Like watching your house burn down as the fire department does nothing, it stays with you
That Pratt-Free LA Ballot Drop: 'It didn't happen!!!'
But it DID Happen.
So now - it's just a 'media reporting timing error.'
The Fed's didn't buy it, and they are on it.
Stay tuned ...
